Rothwell Arts &Crafts Festival a huge success

Rothwell Arts & Crafts Festival 2009, took place earlier in the Autumn at Holy Trinity Church Rothwell.  A 3 day event, supported by several businesses in town, including us ( Nimble Fingerz ) It was a super event, with a great turn out.  The highlight of the exhibition is difficult to pinpoint as there was so much to see;

  • 10 craft stalls,
  • quilt fesitval
  • displays from the Kettering Embroidery Guild and Rothwell Mothers’ Union
  • Kibworth Dance Centre performance
  • Piano recital by Natalie Hill
  • Organ recital from Norman Austin
  • Holy Trinity Church choir performance
  • Art Exhibition / Sale
  • and much more…

it was a jam packed weekend, which kicked off with a VIP preview evening on the Thursday night - including drinks and canapes and an exclusive performance from our very own celebrity David Kent.

It has become an annual event, so if you are interested in reserving yourself a table at the 2010 event ( date yet to be comfirmed ) then please feel free to contact the organisers via Natalie @ Nimble Fingerz, on sales@nimblefingerz.co.uk

Craft Stall in Desborough

Is it Saturday Night Fever John ??

Is it Saturday Night Fever John ??

Well we went to the Desborough Shopping Event last night - it was well organised by local company “Sparkling Style” and there were a lovely group of stall holders in attendance. You could choose from a range of hand crafted gifts and jewellery, plus the all important Craft Supplies and Haberdashery from us at Nimble Fingerz.  Unfortunately it was a quiet night for us, but several stalls did quite well and we would like to thank the organisers for inviting us to take part.  My hubbie John also took part with his Forever Living Products stall - he had a wonderful time as you can see from the pic !!!

Our next Craft Fair is to be Saturday 9th May all day at St Giles Church hall in Desborough.

I will be demonstrating some basic card making techniques so why not pop along and join us ?
